Michael Bisping vs. Luke Rockhold Booked as UFC 199 Headliner

(If ‘t be true thee receiveth one stepeth clos’r to me, I shall knocketh thee out.)

Following Chris Weidman’s shocking and completely unforeseeable withdrawal from UFC 199, the UFC was basically left with two options for a replacement opponent: Ronaldo Souza or Michael Bisping. The former had just come off a win over Vitor Belfort, and the latter somehow beat Anderson goddamn Silva in his last octagon appearance, so either would have made for a more than suitable replacement on such short notice, to say the least.

Unfortunately for “Jacare,” a meniscus injury suffered at UFC 198 last weekend has removed him from the short list of potential opponents, and now, nearly ten years to the day after he made his UFC debut, “The Count” will be receiving his first title shot.

After the jump: A “Greatest Hits” collection, if you will, of Bisping and Rockhold talking sh*t to each other, + an update on Weidman’s injury.
