Fresh off his UFC 199 victory over Luke Rockhold, Michael Bisping returned to the “UFC Tonight” desk Wednesday as a co-host.
The reigning UFC middleweight champion again made it perfectly clear that he wants a rematch with Dan Henderson for his first title defense, not Chris Weidman or a rematch with Rockhold.
“With Chris Weidman, he’s coming off a loss. I believe he should rematch with Luke, and the winner gets shot at the belt,” he said. “I want to get revenge on Dan Henderson before he retires. I want to destroy Dan Henderson. I want to put him in his grave and get revenge for UFC 100.”
Back in 2009, Henderson landed a perfectly-placed punch on Bisping that knocked the Brit completely out. The two had served as coaches on The Ultimate Fighter.
While Henderson is not currently regarded as a top contender for the belt, he is a former Strikeforce and PRIDE champion and is coming off a knockout victory over Hector Lombard.
