Bellator 163: “Chandler vs. Henderson” takes place Nov. 19, 2016, at SAP Center in San Jose, California. It’s a fantastic fight years in the making — Bellator MMA champion versus former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) champion — that will finally go down live and free on Spike TV.

In a new interview with “MMA Noise,” two-time Bellator MMA 155-pound champion “Iron” Michael Chandler talks about his opportunity to face “Smooth” Benson Henderson and perhaps prove who is the greatest Lightweight on the planet.

“This is a fight that’s been a long time coming,” Chandler said. “He was the champ in the UFC at the same time I was champion in Bellator the first time. He was No. 1 in the world, I was between three and five. I think that’s a fight that a lot of people wanted to see, and now we finally get to see it. It’s happening at the right time for me and I think the wrong time for him. I’m excited to go out there and perform.”

Bellator 163 will also feature a Welterweight showdown pitting Michael Page against Fernando Gonzales.
