The Johnson vs. Madadi bout was announced by MMAnytt, while the Adlan Amagov vs. Chris Spang match was announced by Kimura.se.
UFC on Fuel TV: Gustafsson vs. Mousasi is expected to take place on April 6, 2013 at the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. The event is headlined by a light heavyweight matchup between Alexander Gustafsson and Gegard Mousasi.
Johnson lost his last bout to Myles Jury in December, dropping a decision to ‘The Fury’ at UFC 155. The defeat ended a three fight win streak which saw Johnson beat Danny Castillo, Tony Ferguson and Shane Roller in 2012.
Madadi returns to Sweden, having debuted in the Octagon at the first event last April. ‘Mad Dog’ has been in action since then, losing a split decision to Cristiano Marcello last October at UFC 153. At the Stockholm event, UFC on FUEL TV 2, Madadi earned a submission win against opponent Yoislandy Izquierdo.
Amagov was 3-1 with the Strikeforce promotion but is 1-1 in his last two. His last bout took place in August of last year, picking up a first round TKO win over Keith Berry at the Rousey vs. Kaufman event. The loss was to Robbie Lawler one year ago at the Rockhold vs. Jardine show.
Spang went 2-1 with the former Zuffa owned promotion, earning a win in May in his last appearance. The Swede finished opponent Nah-Shon Burrell by first round TKO at the Barnett vs. Cormier event. His previous matches ended in a decision loss to Ricky Legere and a decision win against Joe Ray.
