Bringing you the weird and wild from the world of MMA each and every weeknight!

Welcome to Midnight Mania!

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones has a major issue with the current UFC ranking system and he’s not shy to let us know.

Jones, who is currently sitting on the sidelines plotting his heavyweight debut and overall change in life after his recent arrest, took to social media Friday to voice his disgust with the most recent rankings. The former UFC champion is widely regarded as one of the best fighters of all time and has never really lost inside of the cage. Jones is usually No. 1 on the pound-for-pound list but he has fallen all the way to No. 4 due to inactivity.

Ahead of Jones on the current P4P list is welterweight champion Kamaru Usman, featherweight king Alexander Volkanovski, and middleweight titleholder Israel Adesanya, who is not one of Jones’ favorites. Jones not only took an immediate shot at “Last Stylebender” for being ranked higher when he “can’t defend a takedown” but he also turned his attention on almost everyone else.

“When your ranked over Jon Jones on a pound for pound list but know you can’t defend a take down.”

“It’s funny seeing people have the satisfaction of being ranked over me when I’m not even competing. Just take me off that silly list.”

“Lol I guess so, I guess you can have 1/3 of an MMA game and be considered the real deal these days. This is some new shit right here.”

“I find it rather interesting that I’m not seeing any of these heavyweights talking shit. No comments on my troubles. It’s the fellows who either wouldn’t fight me or who’s ass I’ve already kicked who seem to be the loudest. Funny how that works.”

Insomnia

While we’re on the topic of Jon Jones check out the former champion’s head movement in the below clip:

Hasbulla just arrived and he’s already landing a two-piece and soda on “Minotauro” Nogueira. That tickle at the end by “Big Nog” is borderline inappropriate.

The Jake Paul vs. Dana White feud continues to unfold in front of our eyes.

Jan Blachowicz caught up with Glover Teixeira before their title fight at UFC 267 to give him a Polish beer for his birthday. Pretty cool stuff from the champ.

Just a normal day in the Paige VanZant household.

Check out the brawl that spilled over at Friday’s weigh ins for Jose Zepeda vs. Josue Vargas.

Slips, rips, and KO clips

Not sure if this is old or new, but it’s incredible. The beating itself is on another level, but what about this guy’s chin? He caught a 30 piece and still kept swinging.

Ritu Phogat got blasted with an illegal upkick at ONE Championship: NextGen only to return fire later in the fight with what looks to be an illegal headbutt.

This fighter tried to call a timeout in the middle of the action and got bombarded with strikes before the referee stepped in.

Former UFC fighter KB Bhullar was disqualified for an illegal knee at UAE Warriors 24.

Random Land

It’s Halloween weekend and that means we’re about to witness the start of a legendary set of UFC pay-per-views. It starts Saturday night with UFC 267 in Abu Dhabi and then ends with UFC 268 next weekend in New York City. Both cards are incredibly stacked and full of exciting title fight.

Oh yeah, Halloween is also good for candy and awesome stuff like this:
