Only a day after Dana White revealed that Holly Holm vs. Aspen Ladd is no longer happening, a report has come out that Holly Holm vs. Amanda Nunes is in the works for UFC 237 on May 11 in Curitiba, Brazil, according to Combate, via BloodyElbow.com. Here’s what Nunes had to say about it:
It will be good for me. It has everything to happen. Let’s see if they call me offering it. She’s the only UFC champion I haven’t beaten yet. It will be a good fight… if it happens.

Also according to the same report, Nunes’ fiancee, Nina Ansaroff, will take on Tatiana Suarez on the same card. The co-main event for UFC 237 is a strawweight title bout between Rose Namajunas and Jessica Andrade. It would make for a historic night for women’s MMA. Nunes has won 8 fights in a row, and holds two belts after knocking out featherweight champion Cris Cyborg at UFC 232. Holm, a former bantamweight champion, is coming off a win over featherweight contender Megan Anderson.
