Bringing you the weird and wild from the world of MMA each and every weeknight!

Welcome to Midnight Mania!

Sean Strickland was firing on all cylinders Friday night (Dec. 15, 2023) when the UFC middleweight champion took to the stage for the promotion’s “2024 Seasonal Press Conference” in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The second the microphones went live Strickland was talking trash with anyone who wanted it. He got into a verbal argument with “clown” Sean O’Malley. After that he nearly came out of his seat when his UFC 297 opponent, Dricus du Plessis, made a remark about his dad beating Strickland when he was a kid.

Strickland, who says just about anything he wants to say, was also asked about Colby Covington’s recent comments about Leon Edward’s deceased father. The UFC middleweight champion wasted no breath delivering an explicit rant about Covington and his sleezy antics.

“Colby is an utter piece of sh-t,” said Strickland. “If you know Colby on a personal level, he f—ked over everybody he f—king knows. I take Colby as a personal insult to me because the Trumpsters, the Republicans, you guys are my f—king people, the blue collar workers. You guys are my f—king people, and you guys have a c—t like Colby come in here taking advantage. He don’t give a f—k about you.

“Him making fun of Leon’s dad is the biggest f—king c—t move you can do. Leon’s mom, dad, bad guy or good guy, it doesn’t matter. She raised a boy to be a f—king man, to win a title and be a good man. A real f—king American would applaud him for that, he wouldn’t tear him down. Colby is a fake f—king p—sy. If he were standing here right now, the only thing he would do is call 911 because he’s the definition of a f—king b—ch.”

Strickland may have a bone to pick with Covington, but “Chaos” will have his hands full Saturday night at UFC 296 in a main event title fight against Edwards. This will be Covington’s third — and possibly last — attempt at winning an undisputed UFC championship.

Insomnia
