A bizarre story combining MMA and BDSM has emerged out of the English countryside.

LAD Bible published one of the strangest MMA related headlines in recent memory last month, with: ‘Gimp’ terrorizing Somerset town beaten up by MMA fighter. Being that I am from Somerset (and that I have posted plenty of other bizarre content on this blog), I feel it is my duty to give y’all the weird details.

The ‘Claverham Gimp’ began popping up in British news outlets in early July, after reports of a man in full BDSM gear – including a mask – was apparently menacing people out at night in the tiny villages of Claverham and Yatton. 14 reports of the man grunting, stalking, and simulating sexual acts came in from the rural villages.

The individual was photographed by at least one witness in Claverham.

This lead to police patrols across the area and an eventual arrest. According to the Daily Star two unnamed men were arrested and released on bail a couple of weeks ago.

If a drunken story told by a boxing and Muay Thai practitioner is true, one of these individuals may have had an uncomfortable encounter of their own before the law caught up with them.

Cameron Graham, who other outlets claim is an ‘MMA fighter’, has gone public with his account about encountering the ‘Claverham gimp’ after a night out at the pub.

Graham, who admits he had a ‘heavy’ drinking session at his local inn, said that on his way home he saw a man in BDSM gear laying on the ground in a parking lot. He said when the man tried to get up, he knocked him back onto the ground.

“He was wearing a full gimp suit—latex and everything. He tried to get up, but I was having none of it,” recalled Graham. “I kicked him in the face and then to the stomach and got off.”

Graham told the story to his mother when he got home, who didn’t believe him. Graham then began questioning whether he had imagined the entire thing.

However, when reports of the ‘Claverham gimp’ began popping up, Graham felt sure that what he remembers actually happened.

So now Graham gets to bask in the glory of defending his village from a rubber-clad menace.
