After doing this for a while now, you’ll realize the smaller promotions have these incredible knockouts by some unknowns.

Well, nothing proves this point better then Jimi Manuwa’s knockout of Luke Blythe at UCMMA-Payback in 2009.

The fight made it through almost two rounds but ended just slightly before the end of the second. Manuwa throws a right punch while Blythe throws a low leg kick. In the middle of his low leg kick, Blythe is tagged by Manuwa’s left fist and instantly drops to the ground.

Now I want to know if it’s just me, or does Manuwa look like he slapped Blythe? One thing we do know now, Blythe certainly won’t step out of line ever again out of fear of Manuwa’s slap punch.

Blythe is currently 3-3 and it looks like he has yet to fight anyone professionally since that 2009 loss to Manuwa.

Manuwa is still undefeated and is currently 9-0 with eight wins coming in the form of KO or TKO with one win coming due to guillotine choke submission.

Just one quick thing to throw out there, too: That crazy guy at the end who comes in and says “Jimi! You are the ‘Poster Boy.’”

“Poster Boy” is Manuwa’s nickname. So this crazy guy seems less crazy.
