“MVP” returns to compete in London for the first time in 18 months and will be in search of another highlight-reel finish when he faces off against Derek Anderson.

For the second time this year, Wembley Arena will play host to another of Bellator’s European Series shows on Saturday November 23rd and is headlined by one of the promotion’s biggest stars in the country. Michael ‘Venom’ Page (15-1) and Derek Anderson (16-3, 1NC) were originally booked to compete in London two and a half years ago but the fight never took place due to the London Shootfighters star suffering an injury. However, with both now more experienced in their MMA careers, the pair will finally clash in front of an enthusiastic English crowd.

Page received the first loss of his professional MMA career in May when he was knocked out in the Welterweight World Grand Prix by Douglas Lima. Despite the setback, he rebounded in devastating fashion when he totally outclassed Richard Kiely in Dublin and finished the Irishman with a stunning flying knee. ‘MVP’ will be looking to try and build a winning streak back up and enter the welterweight title picture once again.

Anderson will also be facing a quick turnaround to compete in London as he fought last weekend in a winning effort against Guilherme “Bomba” Vasconcelos by unanimous decision. The American is a ten-fight Bellator veteran and has shared the cage with Brent Primus, Saad Awad and holds two victories over Patricky Pitbull. He’s been less active in recent years compared to his earlier days in the promotion but a shock win over MVP will put him at the forefront of fans minds.

Two other important European clashes have already been announced for the show which will add more intrigue to the card. Fabian Edwards takes on Mike Shipman in a middleweight showdown which has been teased in England for years while Terry Brazier faces newly-signed, former Cage Warriors lightweight champion, Soren Bak.
