It looks like our verdict is in.
On Monday, Conor McGregor tweeted that he was back in at UFC 200, going as far as to thank Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta for coming through for the fans. Later in the day, however, UFC President Dana White claimed that McGregor was not back on the card and that he doesn’t understand why McGregor tweeted what he did.
As noted during the UFC International Fight Week launch event in Las Vegas recently, Nate Diaz said he would be going on vacation, not fighting a different opponent, if the rematch with McGregor wasn’t set for UFC 200. Well, on Monday evening, Diaz may have provided MMA fans with the outcome regarding the McGregor/UFC negotiations.
Diaz took to social media on Monday evening, where he wrote, “Happy to announce that I’m going on vacation #gone #100.”
UFC 200 is scheduled for Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the brand new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Happy to announce that I'm going on vacation #gone #100 ??????
