Nate Diaz will walkout with Floyd Mayweather for Conor McGregor fight if ‘Money Team’ has its way

Nate Diaz never got the chance to slap pop star Justin Bieber, but the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight could be the one to replace him on “The Money Team” next month in “Sin City.”

That’s because Jason Lee, part of the Floyd Mayweather goon squad, is courting Diaz for the Aug. 26 boxing match against Conor McGregor, who was choked out by the scrappy Stocktonite at UFC 196 in early 2016.

“I’m from Stockton, California, and I was just in London with Floyd when the shit went down with Conor,” Lee told TMZ. “I’m gone make a call to Nate Diaz. I would love to see him walkout with Floyd.”

Diaz hasn’t been seen since coming up short in his “Notorious” rematch last August, but has been vocal about the absurdity of the Irishman’s “Money” fight. No word yet if Diaz accepted the offer, but that would add yet another layer of drama.

Stay tuned.
