This afternoon, as a guest on The MMA Hour, Nate Marquardt explained the reason for his failed medical exam for this past weekends UFC on Versus 4 event. Marquardt explained that he is suffering from low levels of testosterone and has been receiving replacement therapy since late last year.

Marquardt, and his his manager from Alchemist MMA Lex McMahon, spent an hour on the program talking about the whole situation from when he first noticed something was wrong, up to meeting all of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commissions medical requirements set before him to have his suspension possibly lifted later this week.

This is just the first nine minutes of the interview, but Marquardt quickly explains the situation.
