The upcoming Nemesis Fighting: MMA Global Invasion event, headlined by a mix of UFC veterans such as Keith Jardine and Paul Buentello, has been rescheduled do to tropical storm Tomas.

The event had been scheduled to take place on Nov. 13th at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, but because of the storm Nemesis Fight Promotion officials apparently rescheduled the event for Dec. 11.

MMAFighting.com was the first to report the news on Tuesday, but was unable to confirm the date change with the promotion or the venue.

Headlining the MMA Global Invasion event is a light-heavyweight bout between former UFC fighter Keith Jardine (15-9-1) vs. Francisco France (6-1). While the co-main event has former UFC heavyweights Paul Buentello (28-13) facing Kerry Schall (23-11).

Jardine has lost his last five bouts, losing to Trevor Prangley in September via split decision at a Shark Fights 13 event. “The Dean of Mean’s” last appearance in the UFC was in June of this year, where he lost a majority decision to Matt Hamill at the TUF 11 Finale.

France has fought for various promotions across the US, will look for his third straight win and fifth fight in 2010. The fighter made one appearance with a big promotion at last May’s Strikeforce: Heavy Artillery event, defeating Lee Brousseau by submission on the preliminary card of the event.
