Bobby Green was minding his own business.
Then UFC Austin headliner Arman Tsarukyan, along with a member of the “Ahalkalakets” goon squad, decided to crowd the lightweight “King” and give him a lesson in etiquette. Not surprisingly, the confrontation didn’t sit well with Green, who tried to create some space between himself and Tsarukyan.
That’s when all hell broke loose.
In what I’m sure was a complete coincidence, Team Tsarukyan was on hand to record both encounters. The footage was later uploaded to YouTube along with some dramatic music to make the confrontation seem a little more suspenseful than just two knuckleheads shouting in the hotel lobby (which sounds something like this).
Green claims he “socked one of his homies.”
Tsarukyan is fighting Beneil Dariush in the UFC Austin headliner on Sat. night (Dec. 2, 2023) at Moody Center in Texas, assuming we can make it the next 24 hours without another hotel blowout. In the UFC Austin co-main event, Green will battle late replacement Jalin Turner, who steps in for the injured Dan Hooker.
