Nick Diaz ‘No Shows’ At World Jiu-Jitsu Expo, Braulio Estima Says Action “Disrespectful”

UFC welterweight Nick Diaz was a “No Show” for his World Jiu-Jitsu Expo ‘Super-Bout’ versus decorated grappler Braulio Estima. Despite a capacity crowd at the Long Beach Convention Center, and a previous announcement by Diaz to donate his purse to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, the former Strikeforce champion did not make an appearance. Even coach Cesar Gracie failed to have an answer for Diaz’s location.

In Estima’s comments to the gathered media (video courtesy of MMAFighting.com), the submission ace felt that his opponent’s “No Show” was disrespectful especially when he was supposed to be competing for charity.
