Bellator 248: “Kongo vs. Johnson 2” takes place Sat., Oct. 10, 2020, at Accor Arena in Paris, France. As you’d expect from the name, the main event is a Heavyweight rematch between local superstar Cheick Kongo (30-10-2, 1 NC) and Timothy Johnson (14-6).
Bellator MMA has decided to bolster the upcoming (and historic) card with a huge slew of newly announced fights. A Light Heavyweight battle between long-time combat sports veteran Melvin Manhoef (32-14-1, 2 NC) and the up-and-coming Simon Biyong (7-1) is perhaps the biggest addition, though fans of the Bellator European Series will be happy to see Welterweights Oliver Enkamp (9-2) vs. Emmanuel Dawa (9-3) and Lightweights Terry Brazier (11-3) vs. Yves Landu (15-8) are also on the card.
