We may not be seeing much of Ronda Rousey inside the Octagon this year, but if you’re already suffering from withdrawal, you can get plenty of “Rowdy” this Saturday night (Jan., 23, 2016) when she hosts “Saturday Night Live” from New York City.
And thanks to the video embedded above, you can get a taste of what to expect.
The former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s Bantamweight champion isn’t exactly a rookie when it comes to acting — she’s already had her fair share of cameos in Hollywood blockbuster hits.
“SNL,” though, is an entirely different beast thanks to its live broadcast platform, which means there is absolutely no room for error. In fact, even the best of them — like Ryan Gosling — sometimes have trouble staying in character throughout a skit.
Nevertheless, “Rowdy” is likely to be spoofed as part of the long-time sketch comedy show, which may — or may not — poke fun at her recent loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193.
