Big June 2nd card serves as inaugural event for agreement

Press Release – San Jose, California (USA): Rising Midwest fight promotion North American Allied Fight Series (NAAFS) and sports PR firm Crossfire Media Group (CMG) have agreed to terms on a pact, it was revealed today. Through this agreement, CMG will facilitate media for NAAFS starting with its highly-anticipated June 2nd event, “Fight Nite at the Flats VIII.” This exciting event is expected to feature UFC and Bellator veterans, will be showcased on GoFightLive.com, and is already generating tremendous buzz amongst Midwest fight fans.

“The NAAFS is poised to take some big steps in 2012, and I am confident that bringing on a publicist like Phil Lanides is part of that,” said NAAFS CEO Greg Kalikas. “June 2nd will be an important milestone for the promotion, and CMG is going to help make sure its impact is as large as possible.”

“I am extremely excited to see where the NAAFS is going,” stated Lanides. “They have showcased some of the best fighters and bouts out there, and with this step into iPPV, even bigger things are on the horizon. I hope CMG is part of it for a long time to come.”

Founded in 2006, the NAAFS has been cultivated into a proving ground for many of the top pros in mixed martial arts today. Their roster has included, at one time or another, a virtual “who’s who” of the MMA world. The Ohio-based organization prides itself on developing the next generation of stars, and is committed to fostering the continued growth of the sport.

The NAAFS has showcased many UFC and Bellator veterans, including (but not limited to) Ben Rothwell, Josh Hendricks, Jason Dent, Dan Bobish, Ryan “The Lion” Madigan, Brian Rogers, Todd Brown, Sean Salmon, Dave Herman, Stipe Miocic, Chris Lozano, Daniel Straus, Forrest “The Meat Cleaver” Petz, and many others.

The CMG stable of clients includes top-ranked Strikeforce welterweight Tyron Woodley, popular UFC middleweight Sean “The Destroyer” Loeffler, rising management company Apex Sports Agency, Canadian MMA promotion Aggression FC, Bay Area-based fight promotion Elite Combat Sports, top MMA fight team Roufusport, and famed combat sports broadcaster Mauro Ranallo.
