Double champion Amanda Nunes is staying put at 135 pounds for now.

Amanda Nunes is not going back up to 145 pounds for her next bout.

The UFC two-division champion will defend her bantamweight title against Germaine de Randamie at UFC 235 on Dec. 14 in Las Vegas, ESPN reported Saturday.

Nunes, who also holds the women’s featherweight belt, is coming off a knockout of ex-titleholder Holly Holm at UFC 239 last month. It was her first fight since winning the 145-pound title with a first-round stoppage of Cris Cyborg last year; Nunes returned to 135 pounds for the Holm defense.

Since becoming a double champ, Nunes has said she intends to defend both of her titles, moving between the two divisions. After fighting out her contract at UFC 240, Cyborg recently left the UFC — meaning a potential rematch with Nunes is off the table and that it’s more likely Nunes continues to fight at bantamweight.

In her most recent outing, de Randamie finished top prospect Aspen Ladd in 16 seconds in the UFC Sacramento main event last month. De Randamie, the inaugural UFC women’s featherweight champion, is riding a five-fight winning streak, which includes decisions over Raquel Pennington and Holm.

De Randamie won the 145-pound belt in early 2017, but was stripped of it later that year after essentially refusing to fight Cyborg in her first title defense. Cyborg later fought for the vacant title, won, then a year and a half later fought Nunes and lost.

Nunes and de Randamie have met once before. They fought at UFC Fight Night 31 in 2013, well before either were title contenders in the promotion. Nunes won by TKO in the first round.

UFC 245, which takes place at T-Mobile Arena, does not yet have an official main event. The only other bout on the card right now is a women’s flyweight fight between former title challenger Jessica Eye and Viviane Araujo.
