Colby Covington has opened as the betting favorite over ex-teammate Jorge Masvidal.
Although it’s not official, oddsmakers have already released odds for the much anticipated welterweight grudge match between Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal, with ‘Chaos’ opening as the slight favorite.
BestFightOdds list Covington as the -140 favorite while former teammate Masvidal is a minor +110 underdog.

Both men are expected to collide sometime early next year, while welterweight king Kamaru Usman is expected to defend his title against Gilbert Burns at UFC 258 in February.
Covington and Masvidal used to train together at American Top Team (ATT) until the former left the gym after causing a ruckus amongst several teammates including Masvidal, Dustin Poirier, and Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
Covington coined the nickname ‘Street Judas’ after accusing Masvidal of making up lies in the media and selling him out for fame.
Covington is fresh off a decision win over former welterweight champ Tyron Woodley while Masvidal is looking to rebound from his loss to reigning champ Kamaru Usman, who beat the latter in a short notice title fight in the UFC 251 main event earlier this year.
