No love for the old guard?

UFC CEO Dana White recently announced a pair of blockbuster fights featuring lightweight veterans Charles Oliveira and Dustin Poirier, with “Do Bronx” returning against Arman Tsarukyan at UFC 300 and “The Diamond” coming back against Benoit Saint-Denis at UFC 299.

Oliveira opened as the +140 underdog against Tsarukyan, who clocked in at -166 for their April 13 showdown at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Similarly, Poirier opened at +124 for the March 9 co-main event at Kaseya Center in Miami, opposite -148 for the betting favorite Saint-Denis.

That’s according to Draft Kings.

You can expect those money lines to fluctuate (in both directions) as we get closer to fight night. Oliveira (34-9, 1 NC) is seven years older than Tsarukyan (21-3) at 34, while Poirier (29-8, 1 NC) is six years older than Saint-Denis (13-1, 1 NC), also at 34. Both fights will have a major impact on the official lightweight rankings (see them here).
