Online scalpers are selling fake Mayweather tickets and clueless McGregor fans are buying them

Tickets for the Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor boxing match have not gone on sale yet, so please stop buying them.

That’s according to UFC President Dana White, who is warning combat sports fans to stay away from online scalpers who are making a pretty penny on clueless fans trying to reserve seats for T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sat., Aug. 26, 2017.

From Instagram:

“A fan told me he bought tix already. I want ALL fans to know that we have not even come up with a price for tix yet and tix ARE NOT for sale yet. Don’t get fucked by These DIRTBALLS trying to sell tix already. When we announce tix on sale that’s when it’s real.”

They won’t be cheap (neither will this).

What’s being dubbed “The Money Fight” came to fruition after months of negotiations and is expected to be one of the most hyped events of the decade. Whether or not that translates into a competitive fight remains to be seen.

Here’s what the oddsmakers think.
