Dillon Danis is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) back belt.

Unfortunately, he’s a social media white belt and can’t seem to replicate his grappling success on Twitter. Take his recent attack on mat rival Jake Shields, who Danis referred to as his “son” despite losing to Shields at Submission Underground 4.

Not surprisingly, Danis was shut down by the former Strikeforce champ (read it here).

I guess the Bellator MMA welterweight didn’t learn his lesson, as today’s venture into social media comedy was over just as quickly as it began. Danis, using the premise of the “10-year challenge,” posted a before and after photo of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Have a look:

Nurmagomedov didn’t even need to respond. The fans took care of that for him.

And this one:

Savage.

Danis is Conor McGregor’s grappling coach and was involved in the UFC 229 post-fight melee back in October. Since “The Eagle” was victorious against McGregor — and won by submission — I’m not sure I understand why Danis is going after Nurmagomedov on social media.

I think this guy knows.
