Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s bantamweight champion, Ronda Rousey, has not officially retired from mixed martial arts (MMA) or World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), so her options remain plentiful after she squeezes out her first child.

One option not listed is “Fuck everything.”

But it’s certainly on the table, as Rousey doesn’t know what to expect when she joins like likes of Miesha Tate and Julianna Pena in the MMA mom’s club. I’m not sure if bookies lay odds on this sort of thing, but a return to pro wrestling is probably the current favorite.

“As for WWE plans in the future, we want to have a baby first,” Rousey said. “I don’t know what it’s like to have a baby. I could look down at this beautiful child and be like, ‘Fuck everything, I don’t care about anything else other than this baby,’ and you’ll never see me again, or I could be like my mom. She trained until she was eight months pregnant and then won the U.S. Open six weeks after giving birth. It was unbelievable, I don’t think I’m going to try and aspire to her level. I’m just saying, you never know, the thing is I don’t want to make any promises about the future when I don’t know how I’m going to feel in the future.”

Rousey walked away from cage fighting in late 2017, thanks to a brutal knockout loss to Amanda Nunes in the UFC 207 pay-per-view (PPV) main event. It was the second straight time “Rowdy” had been stopped following several years of unchallenged dominance.

The Olympian eventually found her way to WWE, where she embarked on a year-long wrasslin’ campaign that culminated in her WrestleMania headliner earlier this month in New Jersey (video here), one that left her with a busted hand.

Rousey turned 32 back in February.
