Jason Reinhardt’s poor vision is to blame for his scratched fight with Tiequan Zhang at Thursday’s WEC 51 event.
Reinhardt told MMAjunkie.com that the Colorado State Boxing Commission, which is set to oversee the event at the 1STBANK Center in Broomfield, denied him a license to fight Zhang out of safety concerns over his use of contacts.
“They say my prescription is too high to fight without my contacts because I can’t see very well,” Reinhardt said.
