A day after Felice Herrig announced her withdrawal from the upcoming UFC 238 pay-per-view (PPV) event on June 8, 2019 in Chicago, Ill., Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has found her replacement.

According to ESPN’s Marc Raimondi, Angela Hill will step in to face Xiaonan Yan in women’s Strawweight action “The Windy City,” which is expected to take pale on the preliminary portion of the event on ESPN+.

Hill (9-6, 3-4 UFC) was last seen defeating Jodie Esquibel at UFC Fight Night 150 last Saturday night (April 27, 2019) in Sunrise, Florida. The victory ended “Overkill’s” two-fight skid.

As for Xiaonan Yan, she hasn’t tasted defeat since 2010, and is currently riding an eight fight win streak, which includes winning her first three bouts inside the world-famous Octagon.

UFC 238 will be headlined by a Bantamweight title fight that will see Flyweight champion Henry Cejudo face off against top contender Marlon Moraes for the vacant title. In the co-main event, Valentina Shevchenko will defend her women’s Flyweight strap for the first time against Jessica Eye.
