Tanner Boser is replacing Maxim Grishin, who is dealing with visa issues.

Ovince Saint Preux has a change of opponent and a change in weight class.

MMA Junkie reported on Wednesday that OSP is set to move up to heavyweight to take on Tanner Boser at UFC Vegas 30 on June 26th. Saint Preux was originally supposed to face Maxim Grishin at light heavyweight, but Grishin withdrew due to visa issues.

Saint Preux (25-15) is coming off a first-round TKO loss to Jamahal Hill in December. The former interim light heavyweight title challenger gave it a go at heavyweight in May of last year, losing a split decision to Ben Rothwell. From there he returned to light heavyweight for a brutal KO of Alonzo Menifield before running into Hill.

Boser (19-8-1) dropped a split decision to Ilir Latifi less than two weeks ago at UFC Vegas 28, this coming after he lost a unanimous decision to Andrei Arlovski last November. Shortly after the Latifi defeat, the Canadian asked Dana White and matchmakers Mick Maynard and Sean Shelby to get him another fight ASAP to fight out the remainder of his contract.

Request granted.

UFC Vegas 30 airs exclusively on ESPN+ and is headlined by a heavyweight bout between top contenders Ciryl Gane and Alexander Volkov.
