An injury to UFC welterweight Rich Attonito has forced ‘The Raging Bull’ off of the upcoming UFC on FX 4 card next month in New Jersey.

Replacing him will be Sweden’s Papy ‘Makambo’ Abedi (8-2), who now faces Rick ‘The Horror’ Story (13-5) at the FX television event.

UFC officials announced the change at UFC.com on Tuesday.

An injury has forced Rich Attonito out of his June 22nd bout against Rick Story, but “The Horror” will still see fight action in Atlantic City against Sweden’s Papy Abedi, who will step in for “The Raging Bull.”

UFC on FX: Maynard vs. Guida (aka UFC on FX 4) is expected to take place on June 22, 2012 at Revel Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

This is likely a must win fight for either man, as they both enter the bout with back-to-back losses on their record.

Abedi is still looking for his first Octagon victory, having recently been submitted by James Head at UFC Sweden and forced to tap by Thiago Alves at UFC 138. These are the first two losses of Abedi’s career and mark his first bouts at welterweight after competing at middleweight for his entire career.

Story has dropped two straight, losing both matches by decision. His most recent defeat came at the hands of Martin Kampmann at UFC 139 last November and to Charlie Brenneman last June at the UFC on Versus 4 card. Brenneman stepped in as a replacement for Nate Marquardt on weigh-in day. The loss to Brenneman ended a six fight win streak for ‘The Horror’.
