Former two-time Bellator champion Pat Curran will return to action in June.
Curran, who lost back-to-back decisions in the Bellator cage, is set to take on featherweight prospect Goiti Yamauchi at the Bellator 139 card in Mulvane, Kansas, on June 26. MMAFighting.com confirmed the bout following a report by MMA Junkie.
Bellator 139 is set to take place at the Kansas Star Arena.
Curran (20-7) looks to get back on track following losses to 145-pound champion Patricio Freire and Daniel Weichel. The 27-year-old fighter is 1-3 in his last four fights in Bellator, with his only win coming in a rematch with Daniel Straus for the featherweight title in March of 2014.
Yamauchi (18-2) signed with Bellator as one of the best prospects out of Brazil, and faces Curran after scoring wins over Mike Richman and Martin Stapleton. Winner of four in five under the Bellator banner, Yamauchi finished 14 of his 20 fights via submission.
