Paul Daley’s next MMA fight will take place in September.
“Semtex” is set to headline BAMMA 16 on September 13 in Manchester, England, the promotion informed MMAFighting.com. Daley’s opponent is expected to be finalized in the coming days.
Daley (34-13-2) made his triumphant return to BAMMA in December when he knocked out Romario Manoel da Silva in the second round. The win was his fifth in six fights.
Of course, Daley still dreams of fighting in the UFC again, and the door does not appear to be completely shut on that dream. UFC president Dana White told reporters last week in Berlin that Daley’s management team sent Zuffa a letter in hopes of re-signing Daley to the UFC (which Daley confirmed to be true with MMAFighting.com), however, White said he had yet to make a decision about that.
