Social media star-turned boxing professional, Jake “El Gallo” Paul, steps back into the squared circle TONIGHT (Sat., July 20, 2024) inside Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla., for a thrilling short-notice showdown with reigning bareknuckle champion and former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) party favor, Mike Perry.
The Cruiserweight showdown, which is scheduled for eight, three-minute rounds — throws caution to the wind as Paul faces his most dangerous test to date. Indeed, it’s a gauntlet of sorts for Paul, who is trying to remain active and also promote his upcoming showdown with Mike Tyson, which was rescheduled for November after the 58-year-old suffered a, “medical emergency.”
Meanwhile, in the “Fear No Man” co-main event, women’s boxing champion, Amanda Serrano, takes on Tampa’s own rising star, the hard-hitting Stevie “Sledgehammer” Morgan in a Super Lightweight battle. The 10-round showcase (for Serrano) promises fireworks as “The Real Deal” seeks to demonstrate her power against a dangerous puncher before her highly-anticipated rematch with Katie Taylor (also planned for November).
“Fear No Man” entire “Prelims” undercard will stream on YouTube, beginning at 7 p.m. ET / 10 p.m. PT before DAZN’s PPV main card action kicks off at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT. Of course, “Paul vs. Perry” odds and betting available at DraftKings Sportsbook.
