Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently wrapped its UFC 236: “Holloway vs. Poirier 2” pay-per-view (PPV) event, held inside State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. That means we have two new interim champions, as top lightweight contender Dustin Poirier managed to out-slug featherweight kingpin Max Holloway (video), while undefeated striking sensation Israel Adesanya turned away rough-and-tumble middleweight bruiser Kelvin Gastelum (replay).

Not surprisingly, all four combatants led the UFC 236 payouts, recently released by Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission and passed along by our friends at MMA Junkie. Holloway and Adesanya were tops with $350,000 apiece, followed by $250,000 for Poirier, and $150,000 for Gastelum. But that’s not all, not by a long shot.

Keep in mind the salaries listed above do not include fight bonuses, Reebok sponsorships, percentages and other unofficial payments. It also does not include deductions for expenses such as insurance, taxes, etc.
