The first season of the Professional Fighters League has now reached the playoffs.

With the Professional Fighters League regular season officially wrapped up as of Thursday night, attention can be focused on the six tournaments, with winners from each weight class (featherweight to heavyweight) earning the $1 million prize at the end of the year.

These are all eight-men fields, and of tremendous importance is the fact that the quarterfinals and semifinals are both taking place on the same card, so if you want to get to the final, you have to win twice in one night.

Here are the brackets, matchups, and dates for the PFL playoffs, which take place throughout October and finish up on New Year’s Eve.

Friday, October 5th in New Orleans, Louisiana (Featherweights, Heavyweights)

Saturday, October 13th in Long Beach, California (Lightweights, Light Heavyweights)

Saturday, October 20th in Washington DC (Welterweights, Middleweights)

Obviously one of the more notable matchups across these tournaments is the Ray Cooper III vs. Jake Shields rematch, as Cooper III is less than two months removed from completely thrashing Shields in a surprise result. Cooper then destroyed Pavel Kusch, while Shields took care of Herman Terrado to secure the final playoff spot.

As far as prize money, quaterfinalists reach receive $50,000, then $100,000 for the semifinals, and $200,000 for those who finish runner-up to the $1 million champions in their respective tournaments. With PFL securing $28 million in funding from the likes of Mark Burnett, Tony Robbins, and Kevin Hart, it looks like the format is here to stay for at least another season.
