Lance Palmer once again cashed in big, as he won the Professional Fighters League (PFL) Featherweight tournament for the second straight year.
Indeed, Lance collected his second $1 million check in the span of a year by outlasting Alex Gilpin during tonight’s (Tues., Dec. 31, 2019) PFL 10 event from Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
It was far from an easy task, as Gilpin — who came up short to Palmer just two months ago — was as game as ever, taking it to the wrestling powerhouse for over 25 minutes. Palmer, though, proved to be too much and earned himself a unanimous decision win.
That is now 10 straight victories for Palmer, who is undefeated thus far under the PFL umbrella. On this same date last year, Palmer defeated Steven Siler to win the first-ever 145-pound tournament for the promotion. Now, it remains to be seen if he can go for three in a row in 2020.
