GSP looks to be in fantastic shape even in retirement.
Georges St-Pierre just turned 40 this month, but the retired UFC legend looks to be in better shape than even many active fighters today.
GSP has always been known to train hard and maintain a healthy lifestyle even when not fighting, and the two-division champion said that he also recently changed up his diet to produce even better results. He took to social media to show the “final result” of his hard training and new diet.
St-Pierre, who has shifted towards acting after retiring from mixed martial arts, was training hard recently while rumblings of a comeback fight came up.
The 40-year-old was preparing to fight Oscar De La Hoya in an exhibition boxing match up until Dana White vetoed the bout. He also reportedly called for a bout against Khabib Nurmagomedov again recently, now that they’re both retired and not involved in the UFC title picture anymore.
The UFC doesn’t seem to be very interested in making either of those bouts happen at this point, but it’s unsurprising to see St-Pierre still be in fantastic shape even in retirement. He’s had a reputation for always having an intensive training regimen, and one look at his social media posts will show that he’s still maintaining that even after officially hanging up the gloves in 2019.
Here are some of his workouts since his 40th birthday:
