Pic: ‘Happy’ UFC champ gets engaged

I guess he has love after all.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight champion, Cody Garbrandt, is all smiles this week after getting engaged to his fiancé. She’s sporting a fairly sizable rock and he’s sporting an equally sizable smile.

“Soon to be Mrs. Garbrandt,” he wrote on Instagram. “I’m so happy! We’re engaged!”

There’s a lot of that going around these days (just ask former UFC champ Ronda Rousey and soon-to-be-hubby Travis Browne).

Garbrandt, 25, is a perfect 11-0 in his mixed martial arts (MMA) career. After proving he belonged on the short list of title contenders by thumping Brazilian banger Thomas Almeida, “No Love” went on to capture division gold with a masterful performance against Dominick Cruz.

He’ll next see action against former division titleholder TJ Dillashaw, but not before the duo complete their duties as head coaches on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 25, affectionately titled “Redemption” (more on that here).
