Luckily, UFC 303’s revamped fight poster seems even better than the original one.

In case you’ve been in hiding this past week, McGregor was removed from UFC 303’s main event due to injury. The injury isn’t considered to be severe, but it’s the first time “Notorious” has ever pulled out of a scheduled UFC bout. It’s a tough pill to swallow considering fight fans have been waiting three years to see McGregor fight and UFC was just about to cash in on a $20 million gate.

With McGregor off the table, UFC worked tirelessly to book a new main event that could still create buzz for UFC 303 and the promotion’s International Fight Week. A rematch between Pereira and Prochazka was likely going to take place later this summer anyways, but getting both fighters to agree to a title fight on two weeks notice is something legends are made of.

Now that Pereira vs. Prochazka 2 is booked and ready to headline UFC 303, the organization will attempt to cram in as much promotion as possible over the next 14 days. It all started with the official UFC 303 fight poster, which re-dropped late Friday night to feature the new main event showdown. It’s arguably better than the first one featuring the return of McGregor, which says a lot about often unpredictable UFC art team.
