Pic: Psycho fan with AK-47 threatens Conor McGregor, UFC and FBI intervene

So here’s an interesting little story from yesterday’s UFC 196 press conference.

As you probably know by now, Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz went tit-for-tat on Wednesday to hype their upcoming UFC 196 pay-per-view (PPV) main event (watch it), which takes place on March 5, 2016 inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Both sides got their share of laughs.

One person who wasn’t laughing was the lunatic MMA fan on Twitter, who thought it would be a good idea to show “Notorious” the difference between fake guns in Ireland and real guns in United States — as if we didn’t already know the difference after all the recent shootings.

Scary.

UFC was quick to respond and according to a report from Fansided, the FBI has also gotten involved. In addition, the offending Twitter account has since been suspended. There is a very real possibility that Gunny McDipstick was just trying to be a social media thug and isn’t a deranged criminal, but better to err on the side of caution.
