With less than two months before Conor McGregor returns to action against Donald Cerrone at UFC 246 on Jan. 18 from Las Vegas, Nevada, the pre-fight promotion has already began.
McGregor, who has not competed inside of the Octagon since getting choked out by Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 back in October 2018, is trying to regain the magic that made him such a massive MMA star so many years ago. A victory over “Cowboy” would help the Irishman begin his journey back to the top and spark off a very busy 2020 campaign.
Cerrone, on the other hand, is trying to prove he’s still a top contender at the age of 36. The all-time leader in UFC wins and finishes has lost his last two Octagon appearances, but a massive win over McGregor would help land “Cowboy” back in the title mix entering the second half of 2020. He’ll also have the opportunity to bank the biggest payday of his storied 24-year professional career.
With little time left to prepare for McGregor’s January clash with Cerrone, fight fans are already producing some memorable social media material. The most recent one being four incredible artwork pieces showing the upcoming matchup between the Irishman and “Cowboy.”

Fans have produced some pretty fascinating artwork pieces in the past, but these renderings of McGregor and Cerrone may take the cake. Hopefully more of the sort will surface as we draw closer to one of the biggest fights of 2020.
