With less than one month left before UFC Fight Night 166 sets sail on Jan. 25 live on ESPN+ from inside PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina, the official fight poster has finally been released.
In the main event of the evening, former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos will try to shake off a recent knockout loss to Francis Ngannou as he takes on streaking contender Curtis Blaydes. A victory for JDS will seemingly right the veteran’s ship heading into 2020 while a win for Blaydes could set him up for a No. 1 contender’s bout.
The co-main event of the evening will feature a welterweight affair between former UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos and streaking veteran Michael Chiesa. Dos Anjos will be looking to rebound from a unanimous decision loss to Leon Edwards back in July while “Maverick” aims to win his third straight since moving up from 155 pounds just one year ago.
