The middleweight title bout between Michael Bisping and Dan Henderson at Saturday’s UFC 204 pay-per-view (PPV) event was a classic. Despite taking a beating, the judges award the unanimous decision victory to Bisping after twenty five minutes.
‘The Count’ survived early knockdowns and some heavy facial damage to earn the win. However, Bisping did not attend the post-event press conference due to a trip to the hospital.
Bisping, who made his first title defense against Henderson since winning the title against Luke Rockhold back at UFC 199, posted these photos on his official Instagram account:
As seen after the fight, Bisping told all of the middleweight title contenders to get their stuff together and is now just healing and awaiting his next title fight. It will be interesting to see which fighter the UFC picks to challenge Bisping for his title next.
