“Oh Pitbull? I don’t know. I honestly couldn’t tell you.” White said when of the two-weight Bellator champ.

Patricio Pitbull wasn’t too pleased with Dana White’s supposed cluelessness of him as a fighter, and the UFC President’s dismissal of a Bellator-UFC crossover fight.

In fairness to White, at first he was only addressing a crossover fight in the light heavyweight division after Bellator president Scott Coker claimed their 205-pound weight class was superior the UFC’s.

“Guys, everybody they have in their light heavyweight division we let go of,” White said. “He’s got the best light heavyweight division? We let those guys all go. It’s like the fu—— dumbest thing I’ve heard, but I get it. He’s got to f—— do his thing. I’m not s—— on him. He’s got to try to do his thing. He’s got to try to sell fights. The way you don’t sell fights is, ‘I’ve got the best light heavyweight division in the world.’ Everybody that was there was let go from here. It’s a pretty silly statement.”

White is referring to fighters such as Phil Davis, Ryan Bader and most recently Corey Anderson who signed to Bellator after losses in the UFC.

However, Friere’s anger came from when another reporter asked White what he thought about Pitbull as a fighter, to which White said he “honestly couldn’t tell you” what he thought.

“Hi Dana White, I’m the one who destroyed steroids machine Mike Chandler, whom you said deserves a talk, in 61 seconds,” Freire wrote. “If you send some of your top fighters to Bellator I can do the same to them too. Let’s bet like you did with Pride.

“Any way works fine for me. I’m sure if Dana White and the UFC are open to it Bellator will let me go there fight their champions. I will even personally bet 1 million dollars with White that I win. How does that sound for an incentive?”
