Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Featherweight champion, Max Holloway, is bored as shit. It seems as though doctors are still unable to figure out what exactly is wrong with the Hawaiian fighter. And it doesn’t appear (at least judging from his social media account) that he’s training all that much — just looks like a lot of family time.

That’s great and all, but there comes a time when a competitive mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter like Holloway just wants to bang, bro. So it comes as no surprise that he is getting a little restless … and nostalgic:

I haven’t had a good time in a long time

“I haven’t had a good time in a long time,” Holloway recently wrote on Instagram, uploading a video of him walking to the cage en route to him punching a dude in that face. A lot. He has been unable to do that since late last year when he stopped Jose Aldo at UFC 218 to defend his 145-pound title.

It’s been downhill ever since.

First, he had to withdraw from a fight with Frankie Edgar at UFC 222 because of a leg injury. Then he was ruled “medically unfit to compete” ahead of UFC 223 when he tried to step in to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov for the vacant (and undisputed) UFC Lightweight title on short notice. Last, and certainly not lease, Holloway was pulled from the UFC 226 pay-per-view (PPV) event last month in Las Vegas, Nevada. Theories (and terrible rumors) ranged from water poisoning to concussion-related symptoms. But, still no official word on what is really going on with Holloway other than that he was starting to “feel better.”

Poor Max Holloway, he just wants to have some UFC fun again.
