The official fight poster has dropped for UFC 260 on Mar. 27 live on ESPN+ PPV from inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, featuring the heavyweight rematch between current champion Stipe Miocic and No. 1 contender Francis Ngannou.
Miocic, who is widely considered the best heavyweight fighter of all time, is coming off a trilogy of fights with former UFC champion Daniel Cormier. Stipe came out on top with a 2-1 record but the last time the heavyweight champion fought someone other than “DC” it was against Ngannou back in 2018, which Miocic won via unanimous decision. This will be Miocic’s opportunity to prove he can still defend his title against the growing contenders in the heavyweight division.
For Ngannou, this will be his second opportunity to steal Miocic’s UFC heavyweight title. The terrifying power puncher has finished his last four fights via first-round knockout, but Ngannou has logged less than three total minutes of Octagon time during that span. That includes his most recent appearance back in May of last year, which lasted just 20 seconds against Jairzinho Rozenstruik. It goes without saying that Ngannou will need to show new layers to his game against a champion who beat him over the course of five rounds their last meeting.

In addition to Miocic vs. Ngannou 2, UFC 260 will feature a co-main event clash between featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski and former title challenger Brian Ortega. Volkanovski is coming off back-to-back wins over former champion Max Holloway and will look to push his undefeated UFC record to 10-0.
