After scoring his first win under the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) banner at UFC Fight Night 150 against Dmitry Smolyakov via first-round technical knockout on ESPN+, Greg Hardy is eying a pay-per-view (PPV) spot.
According to ESPN, Hardy’s manager Abe Kawa says he is looking to find a lanidng spot for the former NFL star-turned professional fighter at the upcoming UFC 242 PPV event on September 7, 2019 in Abu Dhabi.

Hardy lost his UFC debut to Allen Crowder via disqualification back in January, though he bounced back nicely agaisnt Dmitri. that said, not everyone — Dana White included — was impressed with the selection of opponent for Greg.
But with a UFC win in his back pocket, Hardy will look to build on the momentum now that he doesn’t have the added pressure on his shoulders. As far as potential opponents, Juan Adams has been thrown around a bit.
UFC 242 is expected to be headlined by a Lightweight title unification fight between current division champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and interim title holder, Dustin Poirier, who earned the fight to face “The Eagle” by outclassing Max Holloway at UFC 236 a few weeks ago.
