Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is inching closer to its upcoming UFC on FOX 31: “Lee vs. Iaquinta 2” mixed martial arts (MMA) fight card, which takes place tonight (Sat., Dec. 15, 2018) inside Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and features a lightweight co-main event pitting Edson Barboza opposite Dan Hooker.

After slugging his way back into title contention, to the tune of three straight wins, Barboza (19-6) was summarily dismantled by Khabib Nurmagomedov and Kevin Lee in back-to-back fights. At age 32, the Brazilian needs to put some wins together — and fast — if he hopes to get back into the 155-pound title hunt.

As for Hooker (17-7), he got off to a ho-hum start under the UFC banner, putting up a 3-3 record across his first six fights. Since then, “The Hangman” has looked unstoppable, capturing four wins in a row over the likes of Jim Miller and Gilbert Burns, among others.
