Lightweight veterans Bobby Green and Francisco Trinaldo are reportedly headed to Brazil in November.

It seems Bobby Green’s retirement, like many other MMA athletes’ didn’t last. Per MMA Fighting, the 32-year-old is now back, not even one year after his last bout, to take on fellow veteran of the sport Francisco Trinaldo at UFC Sao Paulo.

With just one win in his last six bouts, Bobby Green (24-9-1) dropped a unanimous decision to Drakkar Klose back in December 2018, announcing his retirement afterward. Before the loss, ‘King’ did score one win, a unanimous decision over Erik Koch in January of the same year, however, he lost three bouts and fought to a draw in his four outings prior to the win, losing to Edson Barboza, Dustin Poirier and Rashid Magomedov, while fighting Lando Vannata to a split draw.

After a controversial unanimous decision loss to Alexander Hernandez, in which many pundits believed he did enough to win, Francisco Trinaldo (23-7) will look to pick up his first win of the year. Before the loss to Hernandez, ‘Massaranduba’ TKO’ Evan Dunham with knee to the body, back in September 2018.

UFC Sao Paulo is scheduled for November 16 on ESPN+. So far, no main event for the card has been announced.
