Veteran featherweight contender Cub Swanson will reportedly return to the cage against Hacran Dias at UFC on FOX 19 on April 16th.

A pivotal featherweight matchup between Cub Swanson and Hacran Dias has been scheduled for UFC on FOX 19 later this year, according to a report from Brazilian outlet Combate on Friday. UFC officials haven’t confirmed the news at this time.

Swanson (21-7) hasn’t fought inside the cage since his third-round submission loss to top contender Max Holloway at UFC on FOX 15 early last year. The 32-year old is currently riding a two-fight skid, which also includes a lopsided 5th round submission loss to Frankie Edgar. Swanson’s last win came against Jeremy Stephens in June 2014.

Dias (23-3-1) is on a two-fight winning streak, with decision victories over Levan Makashvili and Darren Elkins over the course of the past two years. The Brazilian’s win over Elkins snapped a two-fight skid which included a very close decision loss to Ricardo Lamas.

It is unknown at this time whether Swanson vs. Dias will be featured on the evening’s main card or preliminary card.

UFC on FOX 19 hasn’t been confirmed by the UFC but is expected to take place live from Tampa, Florida on April 16 and be headlined by a lightweight showdown between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson.
