Although UFC President Dana White recently confirmed the fight, it appears that Robbie Lawler vs. Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone is already scratched from the UFC 205 plans.
According to a report by MMAFighting.com, former UFC Welterweight Champion Lawler decided he needed more time before stepping back into the Octagon after being knocked out in his last fight by current UFC 170-pound champion Tyron Woodley.
UFC 205 is scheduled to be the debut show for the promotion at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The event is set to take place on Saturday, November 12, 2016.
